[Hiring] Social Lead @Star

Role Description

You'll own our organic social presence. Today that means X. It's our primary channel, it's where our audience already lives, and it's where you'll spend your time. As we expand into YouTube and beyond, this role grows with it. But we're hiring for what's important now: someone genuinely native to X who can grow a brand there. Campaign strategy will be ideated and executed together. We’re looking for you to own the steady drumbeat that actually compounds: showing up every day with something worth reading, in a voice people recognize.

What you'll do

• Own the X calendar end to end — plan it, write it, publish it and work with our creatives where necessary.
• Work across formats: announcements, memes, QTs, text posts, replies.
• Hold a consistent voice across everything we put out.
• Live in the timeline and know when to jump into a conversation.
• Turn complex concepts into posts anyone can understand in one scroll.
• Track what's working and do more of it.
• Grow into new channels as we open them.

Qualifications

• Genuinely X-native. You've been posting for years. You know why something works before you can explain it. This is the non-negotiable one.
• Deep understanding of startup culture. You know what founders actually care about, and you can tell the real thing from the LinkedIn version.
• You can make hard things simple. Complex ideas in plain language, without losing the substance.
• Tasteful with memes. You know the difference between a meme that builds a brand and one that burns it.
• You ship. Consistency beats brilliance here. We'd rather have someone reliably good than occasionally great.
• Not afraid to think outside the box. Our live shark tank concept has reached over 350K+ viewers, and it started as a social experiment. You aren’t afraid to try radical ideas (and convince us why they need to exist).
• No specific degree, background, or years of experience required - your timeline and portfolio are your résumé.

Requirements

• You've grown an account before — yours or someone else's.
• Basic design or edit chops (Figma, Canva, CapCut).
• You've worked at or around an early-stage startup, incubator or accelerator.
• Interest in video — helpful as we expand, not required today.
