[Hiring] SEO Strategist @CleverClicks

Role Description

Are you an SEO expert ready to step up and manage your own portfolio of 3 to 4 international clients? Do you get a buzz from developing clever SEO strategies that drive real growth in revenue for your clients? Do you love presenting your ideas, leading client meetings, and building great relationships along the way? And do you want to do it all at an agency that truly values your well-being, trusts you to manage your time, and gives you the flexibility to work how you work best?

We are looking for an incredibly curious individual who knows that AI is fundamentally changing search behaviour, as well as changing the fundamentals of how businesses operate! We need your help to progress our journey in becoming one of the first fully accredited Claude partners in South Africa. The position is fully remote, with flexible hours, but operates mainly during South African business hours.

• Client Ownership: Be the go-to person for your clients. Take full ownership of your clients' SEO performance by leading Zoom calls, sending thoughtful emails, and ensuring clients understand exactly how we're helping them grow their revenue.
• Strategy & Execution: Develop clever, revenue-focused SEO strategies that align with client goals; then direct the monthly work plan to ensure we're driving revenue growth.
• Client Communication: Lead engaging client meetings (mostly via Zoom), simplify the complex, and deliver clear, actionable insights that make clients feel like their SEO is in safe hands.
• On-page & E-E-A-T specialist: Deep, demonstrable expertise in E-E-A-T and on-page optimisation. You need to really know this stuff, not just define E-E-A-T in an interview, but show us where you've applied on-page strategies in the past.
• Reporting & Analysis: Produce insight-driven monthly reports that go beyond data dumps, pulling out meaningful insights, wins, and next steps using tools like GA4, GSC, Accuranker and Looker Studio.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years' dedicated agency experience specialising in SEO
• Minimum of 3 client SEO case studies you can share with us
• A university degree

Requirements

• Share clever ways you're already using AI to get better quality (or more efficient) SEO results
• A working knowledge of Accuranker (or similar), Screaming Frog, Google Tag Manager & HTML code.
• You're learning-obsessed and can show recently completed learning courses.

Benefits

• R30,000 to R45,000 CTC salary range
• 20 days' annual leave
• Fully remote (but operating on South African business hours)
• Flexible hours
• Birthday off (no one should work on their b'day)
