Join the team redefining how the world experiences design.
Canva’s SEO is world-class, and we’re looking for a passionate SEO Outreach Specialist to join the International SEO team to help scale our next phase of growth in India! This is a 6-month contract, working full-time (40 hours a week).
The SEO Outreach Specialist will be responsible for:
- Building high-quality backlinks to improve the SEO performance of important landing pages.
- Working closely with the India SEO Country Lead and Global Outreach Lead to set targets for the number of links needed to achieve top-ranking positions.
- Identifying the most appropriate link-building tactics and building lists of relevant prospects.
- Executing the end-to-end outreach process to secure high-quality links.
- Following a completely white-hat approach to link building, adhering to strict quality guidelines.
- Utilizing a well-established playbook and ideation opportunities with the global outreach team.
At the moment, this role is focused on:
- Identifying landing pages that would benefit from backlinks on the India-focused English SEO pages and the SEO pages of the Hindi subfolder.
- Agreeing on targets for each campaign.
- Identifying a list of backlink prospects, following Canva's outreach playbook.
- Writing and sending quality outreach emails tailored to specific campaigns.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with website owners.
- Maintaining reporting spreadsheets to track progress towards goals.
- Communicating with the SEO Country Lead and Global Outreach Lead if not on track to reach goals.
- Supporting the continual improvement of the global outreach strategy by sharing learnings and insights.
Qualifications
- A fluent Hindi speaker with business-level English.
- A positive, enthusiastic 'people person' with good written communication skills.
- Some experience working in a marketing-related field such as sales, PR, media, or SEO.
- High attention to detail and the ability to closely follow detailed written instructions.
