Role Description

We are seeking a versatile, results-driven Senior SEO Manager to own and execute complete search strategies for clients in the healthcare and dental spaces. This individual must balance high-level strategic planning with direct technical and operational execution, possessing the confidence to present audits and strategic direction directly to client executives.

The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience handling technical SEO, keyword research, localized search (Google Business Profile), and website management/WordPress hosting migrations. Beyond traditional search engines, you will be responsible for optimizing the firm's footprint for AI-driven discovery engines (such as ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity) to ensure maximum visibility in modern search environments.

This is also a client-facing role: you will be expected to confidently present SEO strategy and performance directly to clients, host and lead webinars on SEO topics, and identify organic social media opportunities that complement and extend the broader search strategy.

• Develop, implement, and lead a comprehensive organic search and website optimization strategy designed to increase high-intent inbound leads and conversions.
• Manage and maintain the firm's website, including WordPress administration, CMS management, hosting migrations, domain handling, and site structure updates.
• Execute technical SEO audits, site speed optimizations, schema markup implementations, and fix crawlability/indexability issues.
• Perform strategic keyword research focusing on high-converting keywords, local intent, and search volume to guide content updates.
• Optimize content and website architecture for AI search technologies (LLM discovery engines like ChatGPT, Gemini) alongside traditional search platforms (Google/Bing).
• Manage local SEO, including Google Business Profiles (GBP), local citation building, and review acquisition strategies.
• Monitor, analyze, and report key performance indicators (rankings, organic traffic, conversions, technical health) using tools like Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, and Ahrefs/Semrush.
• Plan and deploy SEO-driven web content, ensuring proper on-page optimization and SEO copywriting best practices.
• Stay in close contact with account managers to flag ranking issues or declines and keep them informed of work completed on each site.
• Conduct competitor analysis to identify main competitors, analyze their SEO strategies, and determine steps needed to improve and outrank them.
• Identify and execute link building opportunities.
• Monitor client Google Analytics for trends or issues requiring attention, such as high bounce rate percentage or spammy referral traffic.
• Properly document all work completed.
• Serve as a confident, client-facing presence, communicating SEO strategy, performance, and recommendations directly to clients and stakeholders.
• Host and present webinars and thought-leadership sessions on SEO strategy and industry trends.
• Identify and recommend organic social media opportunities that align with and support the overall SEO and content strategy.

Qualifications

• 5 to 8+ years of proven SEO experience, combining high-level strategy with hands-on technical execution.
• Direct experience executing SEO campaigns in the healthcare, medical, or dental manufacturing sectors.
• Solid experience working with US-based digital marketing agencies and managing US-focused accounts is a plus.
• Working knowledge of WordPress and fundamental web development standards for technical SEO troubleshooting.
• Strong verbal and written English skills with experience presenting technical data directly to clients.
• Self-starter capable of operating autonomously with minimal oversight upon initial onboarding.
• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
• Strong interpersonal and writing skills, including SEO copywriting.
• Experience with med spas/aesthetics, home services, or other B2B service industries is a plus, in addition to the core healthcare/dental/medical manufacturing focus.
• Confident, client-facing communicator with experience presenting SEO strategy and results directly to clients or stakeholders.
• Comfortable hosting or presenting on webinars, with the presence to represent the agency publicly.
• Working knowledge of organic social media strategy and how it complements SEO and content efforts.
