[Hiring] Senior Marketing Manager @ZURU

Role Description

Rascals, Millie Moon and Hey Tiger have grown fast across Southeast Asia, and our Pet, Beauty and Confectionery brands are next. We're looking for a Senior Marketing Manager to lead marketing across ZURU Edge's SEA portfolio. The role covers four verticals (Baby, Pet, Beauty and Confectionery) in six markets: Singapore, Thailand, the Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia and Vietnam.

This is a senior role, and you'll be accountable for commercial results. Baby is the biggest part of it, given how big those brands have become in key markets. You'll also build Pet, Beauty and Confectionery into strong growth engines. Brand health, consumer marketing and SEA business performance count as one goal, so your marketing decisions show up directly in sales. You'll report to both the Global Marketing Director, Baby Vertical and the South East Asia Director, and lead the SEA Marketing team.

What You'll Do

• Own brand and business performance:
  • Treat brand health, consumer marketing performance and SEA business results as one accountability.
• Baby:
  • Lead consumer marketing and brand building for Millie Moon, Rascals and Hey Tiger across SEA.
  • Partner with the Global Marketing Director and support commercial teams on retailer partnerships and exclusivity deals.
• Pet:
  • Lead consumer marketing for Bonkers and Mr Purrs as they scale, including new launches like Green Gorilla dog toys and Silver Service premium cat food.
• Beauty:
  • Lead consumer marketing for MONDAY, BEING Haircare and DAISE, including retailer partnerships and launches.
• Confectionery:
  • Lead go-to-market and consumer marketing for GumiYum Surprise as it rolls out across Thailand, the Philippines and Singapore.
• Lead the team:
  • Manage and develop Community Managers, Designers and Influencer & Brand Activation Coordinators.
  • Be the main link between what's happening in SEA markets and the global marketing team.
• Influencers and partners:
  • Own influencer and partner strategy across all four verticals, from finding the right partnerships to getting the most out of them for launches and seasonal campaigns.
• PR and events:
  • Lead PR across SEA and oversee events, sampling and grassroots marketing.
• Digital and performance:
  • Own regional digital and e-commerce marketing performance, working with performance marketing to run campaigns across social and e-commerce platforms.
• Budget and agencies:
  • Own the regional marketing budget across all four verticals.
  • Manage the Global Digital team and regional agencies so every campaign is briefed, delivered and measured against brand and commercial goals.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in marketing, including leading marketing across several brands or categories. FMCG, baby, pet care, beauty or personal care experience is ideal.
• A track record of tying brand and consumer marketing to commercial results, not just brand building.
• Strong people leadership: you've managed, developed and grown marketing teams across multiple markets.
• Strong commercial sense, and you're comfortable using performance data, budgets and P&L impact to make marketing decisions.
• Experience running a varied portfolio of brands at different stages, and deciding where resources and budget go to grow the whole portfolio.
• A degree in Communications, Marketing or a related field is preferred.

Benefits

• Culture for Growth
• Health Benefits
• Global Opportunities
• Surrounded by an A Player Team
• Competitive Remuneration
