Role Description
We're looking for a Senior Manager, Paid Media to own Sanity's paid media program: strategy, measurement, and testing agenda, and to build and lead the team behind it. You'll manage a $5M+ annual budget, working with agencies and contractors for execution while coordinating closely with demand gen, ABX, and RevOps internally. This is the first dedicated paid media hire, and it's a people-manager role from day one.

Manage two paid media contractors from day one, with a plan to convert them to full-time hires by January, and grow the team to 2-3 people within the first 12 months.

Plan, allocate, and manage a $5M+ annual budget across LinkedIn, Meta, YouTube, Google, Reddit, TikTok, DSP, and DOOH.

Brief, steer, and hold external partners accountable.

Build audience strategies, creative testing frameworks, and campaign architectures for paid social channels.

Stand up measurement frameworks, attribution models, tagging systems, and reporting dashboards.

Design and execute testing programs across creative audiences, channels, and bidding strategies.

Use AI for bidding optimization, audience modeling, creative iteration, and performance analysis.

Drive full-funnel programs that serve the entire buyer journey.

Translate platform metrics into business outcomes: pipeline generated, cost per opportunity, influenced revenue.
Qualifications

8+ years in B2B paid media, managing $5-10M+ annual budgets, with at least 2+ years of experience managing a team.

Deep expertise in paid social (LinkedIn, Meta, YouTube, Reddit, TikTok) and working knowledge of Google Ads, DSP, and DOOH.

Experience managing agencies and contractors.

Built and run structured experimentation programs across creative, audiences, and channel mix at scale.

Built paid media infrastructure: attribution, naming conventions, tagging, reporting.

Demonstrated use of AI in paid media.

Strong communicator who can present to leadership and align cross-functional partners.

Familiar with B2B SaaS or developer tools, longer sales cycles, and buying committees.
Requirements

Paid media experience in developer tools, content platforms, or technical infrastructure.

Familiarity with ABM platforms (Demandbase, 6sense) and account-based motions.

Scaled a paid program from early stage to mature, multi-channel operation.

Built AI-assisted workflows that go beyond platform defaults.
