Role Description

The Senior Advertising Strategist is the “consultant-in-chief.” You translate raw data and insights into business growth stories for our clients. You aren’t in the ad platform building campaigns or requesting creatives; you are on the camera or in the boardroom, pitching the next account revamp or budget increase and ensuring our clients feel heard and understood.

What You Will Do

• Strategic Consulting: Lead high-level strategy sessions for single-point or small group–level clients, focusing on long-term ROI and business impact.
• Proposal Design: Collaborate with the Advertising Operations Manager to architect and draft compelling proposals for new client pitches, budget expansions, and account re-boots. Proactively review your book of business for opportunities to suggest changes to campaigns on a monthly or quarterly basis, aiming to increase conversions and ad spend while reducing complexity and manual campaign intervention.
• Insight Generation: Analyze performance data to find the “why” behind the numbers, providing non-technical performance managers and sales reps with the narrative they need to maintain client confidence and relationships.
• Solution Architecture: Work with the client and other account reps to define and encourage the marketing mix and creative direction, then hand off execution briefs to the Advertising Operations Coordinator and Senior Advertising Operations Specialist to complete the changes.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in digital advertising strategy, with a proven track record of growing account revenue.
• Exceptional presentation skills, with the ability to explain “PMax” or “attribution modeling” to a dealership owner who just wants to sell more cars.
• Deep understanding and proficiency in Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, GTM, and GA4, without needing to be the daily “button-pusher.”
• Fluency in both English and French, capable of performing all aspects of this role in both languages, including speaking and writing.

Requirements

• Client Churn: Maintain client churn at or below 3% per quarter.
• Upsell Revenue: Meet a monthly target for approved budget expansions or new service attachments.
• Proposal Conversion: Achieve a 15%+ win rate on new client pitches or account revamps drafted.
