Role Description

Reporting to the Director, Public Relations & Content Marketing, you'll be responsible for developing and executing public relations and content strategies with a focus on the Canadian market. This includes:

• Researching and writing content for the Zoocasa Market Insights blog.
• Working with media partners to grow our brand presence online across Canada and the United States.
• Sharing your expertise and mentoring junior team members.

This position is perfect if you are interested in experimentation, fascinated by real estate, and enjoy producing compelling online experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in content marketing, media/public relations, and/or journalism.

Requirements

• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Craft a range of content including data-driven blog articles, website copy, pitches, newsletter copy, and more.
• Hands-on work collecting, analyzing, and verifying Canadian and U.S. real estate market data.
• Assist junior team members in defining and executing the methodology of data-driven articles.
• Provide editorial support including fact-checking and ensuring all content reflects Zoocasa’s brand voice.
• Research industry trends to assist in the development of comprehensive PR and content strategies.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with media outlets and journalists across Canada and the U.S.
• Compile media lists and assist with editorial planning as needed.
• Write and distribute pitches that are informative and engaging.
• Respond to media inquiries in a timely manner.
• Translate complex, data-driven content into clear media briefs.
• Track and analyze metrics related to PR and content to measure effectiveness of campaigns.
• Leverage AI and infographics to provide compelling imagery and data.
• Keep on top of news and industry trends and adapt content and PR strategies accordingly.
