[Hiring] Product Marketing Manager @Fourth

Role Description

HotSchedules is our flagship product in the US SMB segment — independent operators and small chains. We’re hiring a product marketer to own it. This is a foundational seat. You’ll build the positioning, the competitive plays, and the sales-facing content that a high-velocity motion runs on — and you’ll see the results in win rate within a quarter, not a year.

Primary Responsibilities

• The buyer, not the feature list: Understand that restaurant operators don’t buy scheduling software; they buy back their Sunday afternoon, stop bleeding overtime, and stop losing their best shift leads.
• Sales-facing assets for a fast motion: Create short demo videos (one-to-two minutes) and competitive one-pagers that answer questions quickly.
• Making it land in live deals: Ensure that content is used by reps and measure effectiveness through rep calls.
• Fueling the inbound engine: Provide the value proposition and competitive angles for the digital marketing team to take to market.
• Positioning against a crowded field: Build distinct plays for each competitor and prove effectiveness by moving win rate.

Qualifications

• 3 to 6 years in product marketing, ideally in SMB or high-velocity B2B SaaS.
• Genuine competitive chops with a history of building plays that changed win rates.
• Strong writing skills to simplify complex concepts quickly.
• Comfortable being close to sales and engaging in rep conversations.
• Restaurant, hospitality, or multi-location retail experience is a strong plus.

• Ability to understand the buyer narrative and the product thoroughly.
• Curiosity about how restaurants actually run is required.
