Role Description
Sierra Select is seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Product Marketing to lead product positioning, go-to-market strategy, marketing communications, and sales enablement across our portfolio of consumer technology, electronics, outdoor living, and related products. The ideal candidate combines strong strategic thinking with hands-on marketing experience and understands how to translate product features and market trends into compelling value propositions for dealers, customers, and sales teams.

Develop and lead product marketing strategies aligned with company and revenue objectives.

Own product positioning, messaging, value propositions, and competitive differentiation.

Develop go-to-market plans for new products, product launches, and portfolio updates.

Conduct market, customer, competitor, and industry research to identify opportunities.

Create product marketing materials, presentations, sales tools, product guides, and promotional content.

Partner with sales, product, procurement, operations, and leadership teams to support product growth.

Develop sales enablement resources to help dealer partners and sales teams effectively communicate product benefits.

Translate technical product information into clear and compelling customer-facing messaging.

Monitor market trends, competitor activity, pricing, and customer needs.

Manage product launches and coordinate marketing activities across relevant channels.

Support website, email, digital, dealer, and other marketing initiatives.

Track product marketing performance and provide insights and recommendations to leadership.

Manage external agencies, vendors, and creative partners when appropriate.

Establish consistent product messaging and brand standards across marketing materials.

Identify opportunities to improve product adoption, customer engagement, and sales performance.
Qualifications

7+ years of experience in product marketing, brand marketing, go-to-market strategy, or a related field.

Bachelorβs degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related discipline preferred.

Proven experience developing product positioning and go-to-market strategies.

Strong understanding of market research, competitive analysis, and customer segmentation.

Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.

Experience creating sales enablement and product marketing materials.

Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Analytical mindset with the ability to use market and performance data to inform decisions.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, CRM, marketing, and analytics platforms.

Experience in consumer electronics, technology, appliances, outdoor living, distribution, or related industries is a plus.

Experience working with dealer, wholesale, or channel-partner networks is highly desirable.
