[Hiring] Marketing & Events Coordinator @LOVB Miami

Role Description

The Marketing & Events Coordinator, LOVB Youth Tournaments & Events (LYTE), supports the execution of marketing and event activation efforts across LOVB youth tournaments and events. You will coordinate campaign deliverables, maintain and distribute marketing resources, support tournament promotions, and help ensure consistent application of the LOVB brand across event touch points.

Working under the direction of Youth Marketing leadership, you will collaborate with LOVB Clubs and internal partners to keep projects organized, complete assigned marketing activities, and support on-site execution at select events. You will also collect registration, engagement, and event information to help the team understand performance and identify opportunities for improvement. This is an opportunity to build foundational experience in sports marketing and event activation while contributing to high-quality experiences for athletes, families, clubs, fans, and communities across LOVB.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments, deadlines, and details.
• Clear and professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to follow established processes while asking questions and escalating issues when appropriate.
• Strong attention to detail, particularly when reviewing marketing materials, brand assets, schedules, and event deliverables.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and club partners in a distributed environment.
• Comfortable working with basic marketing, project management, presentation, spreadsheet, and digital collaboration tools.
• Ability to gather, organize, and accurately report basic marketing and event performance information.
• Interesting marketing, event activation, sports, youth programs, or community engagement.
• Experience with Canva, Google Workspace, email marketing platforms, project management tools, or similar platforms is preferred.
• Previous internship, part-time, volunteer, or professional experience in sports, events, marketing, or youth programming is preferred.
• Familiarity with volleyball or the youth sports ecosystem is a plus.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Sports Management, Event Management, or a related field preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.
• 0-2 years of relevant professional, internship, part-time, or volunteer experience in marketing, events, sports, or a related area.
• Exposure to event marketing, digital marketing, grassroots marketing, or community-based programs is preferred.
• Experience working or volunteering in youth sports or volleyball is a plus.
