[Hiring] Marketing and Communications Manager @The Climate & Clean Energy Equity Fund

Role Description

The Marketing and Communications Manager plays a critical role in advancing the Climate Equity Fund’s mission, visibility, and strategic influence through integrated marketing, communications, storytelling, and brand management. This role manages the Equity Fund’s external-facing communications infrastructure, digital presence, messaging systems, and collateral development to strengthen engagement with funders, partners, grantees, and broader stakeholder audiences.

This position also supports the development and execution of communications strategies that strengthen donor engagement, amplify grantee partner impact, support fundraising and strategic partnerships efforts, and reinforce the organization’s values-centered voice and mission.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, English, or a related field preferred.
• Equivalent combinations of education, training, certifications, and experience demonstrating the ability to successfully perform the essential functions of the role will also be considered.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience working within nonprofit, philanthropic intermediary in both 501(c)(3) and 501(c)(4) fundraising, climate justice, racial equity, advocacy, or mission-driven organization.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in marketing, communications, brand management, strategic storytelling, or related communications functions.
• Exceptional writing, editing, storytelling, and verbal communication skills.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and stakeholder relationships simultaneously.
• Demonstrated commitment to equity-centered communications practices.
