Role Description
The Manager, Retirement Growth Marketing connects OneDigital’s national marketing capabilities with retirement plan growth across the West and Central regions—helping advisors put campaigns, tools, resources, and growth initiatives to work in their local markets. With an advisor-first, consultative mindset, this individual partners with retirement advisors and consultants as they build and execute their growth plans, helping them prioritize opportunities, strengthen prospecting practices, improve pipeline visibility, adopt AI-enabled solutions, and unlock the full value of OneDigital's converged workplace offering.
Reporting to the Director, Financial Services Field Operations, this role operates at the intersection of field marketing, sales enablement, and growth operations. The individual adapts national programs for local relevance, develops market-level campaigns where opportunities exist, and serves as a regional marketing partner on high-value pursuits. By bringing regional insights to national teams and scaling proven practices across markets, this role strengthens alignment between national strategy and local needs while helping advisors build more consistent, effective growth practices.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
-
Serve as a trusted growth marketing consultant to retirement advisors and consultants, helping them prioritize high-impact opportunities and translate national marketing programs into practical, locally relevant growth activation plans.
-
Partner with advisors as they build their individual growth plans, connecting them to the campaigns, content, programs, and resources best suited to their goals and specialties—and driving adoption of growth-enablement platforms and other approved AI and convergence solutions through individual and small-group enablement.
-
Adapt national campaigns and marketing assets for local market relevance and develop local market campaigns and activations where national programs do not address a specific regional opportunity.
-
Help advisors incorporate AI-enabled tools and digital coworkers into their prospecting practices to identify opportunities, prioritize outreach, and build more consistent business development habits while reinforcing responsible use, data quality, and compliance requirements.
-
Use CRM data, performance indicators, and field insights to monitor campaign participation, lead response, opportunity progression, advisor engagement, technology adoption, convergence referrals, finalist activity, and event outcomes—identifying execution gaps and recommending practical actions that improve follow-through and results.
-
Enable retirement advisors to proactively identify and advance convergence opportunities across Employee Benefits, HR Consulting, Property & Casualty, Nonqualified Executive Benefits, and Wealth.
-
Serve as the regional marketing liaison on high-value opportunities, partnering with advisors, market leaders, and national marketing to align messaging, tailor materials, coordinate preparation, and capture win/loss themes that strengthen future pursuits.
-
Enable retirement plan advisors to build and strengthen centers-of-influence (COI) relationships with CPAs, ERISA attorneys, recordkeepers, TPAs, and other retirement ecosystem partners that generate qualified plan opportunities.
-
Advise retirement advisors and market leaders on event strategy for seminars, webinars, sponsorships, industry conferences, plan sponsor education programs, COI events, and other prospecting initiatives—including audience selection, engagement objectives, lead-capture and follow-up approaches, and how success will be evaluated.
-
Support the integration and onboarding of newly acquired and newly joined advisors and teams by connecting them with relevant marketing programs, growth resources, technology platforms, and enablement opportunities that accelerate adoption and field activation.
-
Serve as the connection point between the field and national teams—surfacing resource gaps, advisor feedback, local market intelligence, and successful practices that can be scaled, so national teams can strengthen campaigns, assets, technology investments, and enablement priorities.
