[Hiring] Manager of Paid Search @Community Choice Financial Family of Brands

Role Description

As the Manager of Paid Search at Community Choice Financial® Family of Brands, you are responsible for driving customer acquisition and revenue growth through the strategic management and optimization of paid search marketing programs. This player-coach role combines hands-on ownership of large-scale paid search campaigns with leadership of a Paid Search Specialist. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in paid search strategy, campaign execution, bidding, audience targeting, analytics, and performance optimization, along with the ability to develop talent and influence business outcomes through data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Analytics, or related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on paid search experience managing large-scale performance marketing programs.
• Experience managing significant paid search budgets and high-volume customer acquisition campaigns.
• Expert proficiency in Google Ads and Microsoft Ads.
• Proven experience successfully managing Performance Max and Shopping campaigns.
• Advanced experience with Google Analytics, GA4, Adobe Analytics, or similar analytics platforms.
• Strong understanding of bidding strategies, auction dynamics, attribution, conversion tracking, and audience targeting.
• Experience managing external vendor partnerships.
• Experience directly managing or mentoring team members.
• Strong Excel and data analysis skills.
• Proven ability to translate data into actionable business insights.
• Demonstrated record of delivering sustained results across roles.
• Established habit of using metrics and performance data.
• Ownership of outcomes, not just activity.
• Clear and confident verbal and written communication.
• Ability to communicate upward to directors and VPs.
• Experience presenting risks, insights, and recommendations.
• Paid search experience in retail, ecommerce, or rent-to-own.
