[Hiring] Insights Manager @CDW

Role Description

We are looking for a strategic and experienced Insights Manager to develop, operationalize and distribute actionable insights that improve Marketing campaigns and Sales go-to-market initiatives. This role will translate market trends, customer voice, competitive analysis, and industry research to drive customer relevancy.

• Track and synthesize the impact of macroeconomic trends on the business, IT market dynamics, and B2B buying behaviors translating them for Marketing and Sales recommendations.
• Develop and operationalize customer personas using data, customer surveys, focus groups, SME interviews, and third-party insights to define buyer job roles, responsibilities, priorities, challenges and drivers.
• Design and execute custom market research that delivers data-driven insights and actionable recommendations, strengthens internal stakeholder expertise and supports brand growth.
• Translate Voice of Customer feedback into prioritized insights, clear recommendations and measurable follow-up actions. Communicate insights broadly with Marketing channel owners, Sales, Solution & Services teams, and Digital to inform and steer cohesive campaign and GTM efforts.
• Manage third-party data, research-vendor and industry-association partnerships, ensuring high-quality deliverables and identifying opportunities to integrate external insights into Marketing strategies and programs.
• Democratize access to insights through self-service resources, customized alerts and scalable research assets for continuous optimization of marketing strategies and customer experiences.
• Foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning through campaign experimentation, VOC feedback, and post-activity debriefs, translating results into repeatable practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related business science field.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in marketing, analytics or strategy, with a focus on industry or technology-specific story-telling.
• Strong analytical skills and experience with forecasting and scenario planning to prepare for market changes.
• Experience leveraging AI-powered tools to accelerate research, synthesize complex data and scale the delivery of actionable insights.
• Proficiency in using CRM and sales data to drive marketing decisions.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Familiarity with industry reports from sources such as Gartner and Forrester.
• Ability to stay updated on competitor activities and market trends.
• Experience in gathering and utilizing customer feedback.

Requirements

• Pay range: $124,000 - $174,600 depending on experience and skill set.
• Annual bonus target of 10% subject to terms and conditions of plan.
• Salary ranges may be subject to geographic differentials.
