Role Description

Tetrascience is hiring an elite product marketing leader for our suite of next-gen lab data management products. Alongside your product management peer, you will be responsible for the product definition of this suite as well as its packaging, pricing, promotion, and partnering strategies.

As we rapidly evolve and externalize our platform and open up entirely new value creation paths, we require an uncompromising and results-driven product marketing leader.

  • Have spent formative years focused on the digitalization of the life sciences laboratory.
  • Strive to make every piece of data accessible, findable, interoperable, and reusable.
  • Understand that replatforming and completely reengineering all available scientific data is essential for advanced scientific and operational outcomes.
  • Have led product marketing teams to disrupt the status quo within the life sciences lab informatics world.
  • Collaborate with customers, fellow product marketeers, demand gen teams, sales, engineers, and executives.
  • Seek understanding and clarity, viewing every customer interaction as an opportunity to learn.

What You Will Do

  • Lead the marketing strategy for next-gen scientific data management and lab automation solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with product and marketing peers in the AI/ML and scientific use case teams.
  • Create product messaging, pricing, packaging, sales tools, and customer-facing content.
  • Ensure effective articulation of capabilities, differentiation, and business value of TetraScience solutions.
  • Focus on creating more pipeline for our teams.

Responsibilities

  • Create and measure pipeline generated.
  • Enable and equip the sales team with crucial sales tools, live training, and resources.
  • Deliver customer-facing technical marketing content (e.g., whitepapers, ROI calculators, blogs, solution briefs, eBooks, website copy, videos, and webinars).
  • Develop, maintain, and evolve new pricing/packaging models.
  • Create technical content like demos, presentations, and FAQs to assist in the sales process.
  • Build deep relationships with customers' IT teams; understand their processes and objectives.
  • Be knowledgeable of key competitors’ strengths/weaknesses and create tools to enable Sales to beat the competition.
  • Conduct thorough market research and user feedback sessions to understand needs and challenges faced by scientific and operational IT.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in life science software product marketing, ideally with a vendor producing LIMS, ELN, or SDMS products.
  • Experience working with an enterprise customer base and sales force is essential.
  • Proven track record of successfully championing trajectory-changing shifts in the biopharma industry.
  • Fearless ability to interact with customers and synthesize their insights to drive marketing strategy.
  • Deep knowledge of data management, data visualization techniques, and tools.
  • Proven track record of developing and launching successful products, from ideation through implementation.
  • Experience of building and leading highly technical product marketing teams.
  • Ability to travel regularly to customer locations and evangelize the Next-Gen Lab Management capabilities.
  • Experience of working within a biopharma company in an IT-related function is a big plus.
