Role Description

AvantStay is looking for a Head of Local Marketing & Partnerships to establish a strong local presence in every market we operate in. This role involves:

• Building local marketing from scratch across all markets.
• Deciding how each market earns attention and building valuable relationships.
• Owning the budget for local marketing initiatives.
• Finding, pitching, and closing partnerships independently.
• Creating a clear, simple strategy for each market in collaboration with area managers.
• Managing local campaigns, promotions, and content to drive direct bookings.
• Overseeing the physical aspects of marketing, including branded merchandise and collateral.
• Ensuring a strong local reputation through listings, press, and community engagement.
• Developing a playbook with templates and systems for area managers to utilize.

Qualifications

• Experience in partnerships through cold outreach.
• Ability to plan and track marketing budgets across multiple locations.
• Hands-on experience with branded merchandise and print fulfillment.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple markets simultaneously.
• Clear and friendly communication skills for diverse audiences.
• Working knowledge of local listings, local SEO, email tools, and spreadsheets.
• 3+ years in local, regional, or field marketing for a multi-location consumer brand.

Requirements

• Must be able to work US business hours (Pacific, Central, or Eastern time).
• Must have excellent written and spoken English (near-native).
• This role is only open to global candidates outside the United States.
• Fully remote position.
