Role Description
The Growth Marketing Manager drives campaign execution for Blackboardβs new logo pipeline and serves as a key connector between acquisition and the post-sale customer journey. This role is responsible for translating GTM positioning and segment strategy into integrated, multi-channel demand generation campaigns that create and accelerate pipeline across the Business & Government market.
This is a creator and executor role. You will own end-to-end campaign planning and delivery:

From brief to launch to performance reporting, with review at key milestones.

Work closely with Product Marketing, Marketing Intelligence, Marketing Operations, and the Sales org.

Manage execution of physical and digital field presence in Business & Government.

Every event runs against a documented pipeline target, with a measurement plan and clear post-event attribution.
The right person for this role understands that AI is changing the buyer journey. You are expected to actively use AI tools and build AI-enabled workflows and automations that help you work with greater speed and efficiency.
Qualifications

5+ years of B2B demand generation or growth marketing experience, ideally in EdTech, SaaS, or a similarly complex enterprise environment.

Proven track record building and executing integrated campaigns that generate pipeline β not just leads β with a measurable contribution number you own.

Hands-on ABM experience: you have executed account-based programs and know how to tailor plays at the account level and measure their impact.

Field and event marketing ownership: you have executed conference presence and regional programs, helped manage event budgets, and tracked post-event results.

AI-forward mindset: you use AI as a core part of how you work and have built workflows or automations to improve campaign efficiency.

Data-driven mindset: you review your own numbers, spot whatβs working, and make adjustments without being asked.

Strong working knowledge of HubSpot or Marketo and Salesforce.

Experience with intent data platforms β 6sense, Demandbase, or similar.

Experience working with agency partners for paid media (search, display, programmatic) and coordinating creative production.

Ability to operate independently in a fast-moving org.

Strong written communication skills.

Cross-functional influence: you work well with Sales and can push back when you need to, without burning relationships.

Manage and execute the integrated campaign calendar for new logo acquisition in the Business & Government segment.

Translate GTM positioning and competitive differentiation into compelling, audience-specific campaign narratives and assets.

Execute multi-channel campaigns spanning paid media, email, content syndication, webinars, and field event integration.

Design and run ABM programs for target accounts across the Business & Government universe.

Partner with Marketing channel teams to ensure programs compound ROI.
-
Use and build AI-enabled workflows to support campaign analysis, audience personalization, and performance optimization.

Coordinate with Events, Sr Manager to manage regional field activation programs.

Track and report post-event attribution using established models.
-
Own a direct pipeline contribution target.

Leverage intent data and buying signals to prioritize campaign audiences.

Flag expansion signals to the Customer Growth & Advocacy team.

Brief and collaborate with Content and Brand teams to develop campaign assets.
-
Coordinate with Marketing Ops to ensure proper list segmentation and campaign tracking.

Own campaign performance reporting.
-
Continuously test and optimize campaign elements.
-
Present campaign results and recommendations at weekly pipeline reviews.

Influence without authority: work across Sales, CS, and Marketing.
Benefits

The expected salary range for this position is $86,900 - $90,000.

The range reflects base salary only and does not include additional compensation such as company bonus or benefits.
