Role Description
This role involves helping organizations evaluate, build, and implement smart SEO strategies that drive quality website traffic and build organizational awareness.
- Work with the SEO service lead to create strategies and assess client websites
- Run audits for current and new clients, presenting information with clarity and confidence
- Assist in creating a holistic and complete SEO strategy unique to each client
- Research and study competition to own organic rankings, traffic, and revenue goals
- Create and/or edit SEO-related content such as titles, H1's, meta descriptions, alt tags, and copy for web pages
- Understand technical issues and provide recommendations for improvement
- Manage SEO projects and follow appropriate deadlines
- Spend most time directly working with clients and client teams on SEO strategies, implementation, and analysis
Qualifications
- 2-3 years of SEO experience across non-profit and/or digital marketing industries
- Background, degree, or certification in (digital) marketing or business; certifications in SEO a plus
- Experience with SEO tools such as Semrush, Moz, Screaming Frogs
- Experience with WordPress, Google Analytics, Google Search Console
- Experience with fixing 404 errors and optimizing content
- Experience conducting keyword research
- Experience in performing SEO audits (on-page, off-page, technical)
Requirements
- Knowledge of current SEO best practices and techniques
- Analytical, strategic, and organized
- Interest in furthering education and knowledge in SEO, staying on top of new trends and updates
