Role Description
This role involves helping accelerate the growth and impact of organizations doing good in the world by supporting the agency's creative services and building stronger client relationships through top-notch writing and strategy.
- Content strategy and information architecture for client websites
- Drafting copy for websites, landing pages, social media, blogs, ads, videos, and more
- Work with account strategists, art directors, designers, and developers to create compelling content
- Evaluate existing website content and make recommendations for improvements
- Write long and short form copy for various channels and market segments
- Contribute ideas to brainstorming and concepting sessions for brand campaigns
- Write brand guidelines, marketing documents, and provide proofreading and editing support
- Stay updated on trends, best practices, and opportunities for new ideas
Qualifications
- 3 - 5 years of digital marketing experience across nonprofits and digital marketing industries
- Prior agency experience preferred, but not required
- Strong passion for storytelling and driving meaningful results for nonprofits
- Ability to problem-solve and help teammates succeed
- Highly organized with attention to detail
- Experience managing multiple projects and prioritizing workload
Requirements
- 3 - 5 years experience in copywriting and content strategy in a marketing, consulting, or advertising agency environment
- Understanding of how copy and content fit into an organization's mission
- Solid toolkit of best practices in editing, proofreading, and time management
- Ability to juggle multiple accounts with varying deadlines
- Ability to present creative work to clients and conduct third-party research
- Strong time management and client relationship skills
- Willingness to find creative solutions regardless of budget constraints
