Role Description

We’re looking for a Facebook Ads Specialist to take ownership of Facebook advertising campaigns from strategy and setup through ongoing optimization. You’ll manage campaign performance, audiences, budgets, testing, and reporting while working closely with the marketing team to improve results.

What You’ll Own

• Campaign Planning & Strategy
  • Design and build Facebook ad campaigns from the ground up.
  • Align targeting, creative direction, and budget allocation with business objectives.
• Ad Execution & Management
  • Set up, launch, and actively manage Facebook campaigns.
  • Monitor delivery, pacing, and performance on an ongoing basis.
• Audience Development
  • Research, build, and refine audience segments.
  • Use custom audiences, lookalikes, and interest-based targeting to improve reach and relevance.
• Performance Analysis & Reporting
  • Track key metrics across active campaigns.
  • Analyze campaign data and identify trends.
  • Turn findings into clear recommendations for improving performance.
• Creative Collaboration
  • Work with the marketing team to brief, review, and iterate on ad creatives and copy.
  • Ensure assets are optimized for their placement and campaign objective.
• Budget Management
  • Manage daily and monthly ad spend responsibly.
  • Adjust bids and budgets to meet efficiency targets without overspending.
• Testing & Optimization
  • Run structured A/B tests across audiences, creatives, and landing page combinations.
  • Apply learnings systematically across campaigns.

Qualifications

• Proven hands-on experience planning and running Facebook ad campaigns, ideally in a marketing agency or similarly fast-moving environment.
• Strong command of Meta Ads Manager, including campaign structure, pixel setup, conversion tracking, and attribution settings.
• Experience managing ad budgets and being accountable for performance results.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret campaign data and identify trends.
• Experience with A/B testing and a disciplined approach to applying campaign learnings.
• Confident communication skills with the ability to present performance updates and recommendations clearly.

Typical Day

Your day centers on the Focusmediahouse ad accounts. You’ll start by reviewing overnight performance across live campaigns and identifying opportunities for budget adjustments, creative changes, or targeting improvements. You may then prepare performance reports, brief a designer on a new creative concept, or build the structure for an upcoming campaign. Testing is an ongoing part of the role, including reviewing active experiments, deciding what to scale or cut, and setting up the next round. Most collaboration happens asynchronously, so strong written communication and clear documentation are important.
