Role Description

As the Director, Paid Social you will:

  • Client Management & Leadership:
    • Lead a portfolio of clients, ensuring strategic alignment of account team recommendations with client objectives.
    • Foster trust with senior client stakeholders, while partnering with internal leadership to address escalations and facilitate timely issue resolution.
    • Proactively identify high-value moments to present, connect, and meet with key client stakeholders to build and maintain strong relationships, provide insight, and influence change.
  • Client Onboarding & Transitions:
    • Oversee client onboarding, offboarding, and account transitions, ensuring seamless experiences and maximizing account potential through the introduction of new ideas, strategies, and growth opportunities.
    • Ensure accurate and efficient delivery on ad operations (tracking) requirements, partnering with the ad ops team to provide best-in-class guidance for clients where needed.
  • Team Leadership and Development:
    • Provide timely feedback, coaching, and evaluation of team members' goals and tasks.
    • Conduct weekly 1:1 meetings to offer ongoing support and ensure adherence to scorecard tasks.
    • Effectively manage client relationships, deliver best-in-class products, foster team building, and facilitate career growth through clear goal-setting, feedback loops, and educational development.
    • Maintain certifications and stay updated on industry trends and best practices through continuous learning initiatives.
  • Business Acumen and Financial KPIs:
    • Collaborate closely with Pod Leader and Directors throughout the pod to achieve financial targets and objectives.
    • Ensure efficiency with staffing plans and allocations as well as client margin.
  • Innovation and Thought Leadership:
    • Stay at the forefront of industry, consumer, platform, and relevant vertical trends.
    • Implement cutting-edge tactics and technologies.
    • Drive innovative ideas and approaches to enhance campaign effectiveness and bring true value to our clients.
  • Client Education:
    • Equip clients with the knowledge and confidence to speak about strategic directions and decisions, reinforcing their trust in our expertise.
  • Industry Expertise:
    • Maintain and apply an in-depth knowledge of market developments, emerging trends, and best practices of the client’s business, and the industry overall, to enhance client strategies and recommendations.
  • Channel Specific Expertise:
    • Oversee client team’s media strategy across Social platforms to ensure the most effective use of media dollars against the clients' goals.
    • Effectively communicate strategy and innovation to client and their leadership.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in Paid Social roles with a proven track record of executing successful campaigns across multiple Social platforms.
  • 3+ years of management experience preferred.
  • Expertise in Social strategy across Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, Reddit, Snapchat, LinkedIn, and X.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and managing teams, developing strategies, and achieving substantial business objectives.
  • Demonstrated success analyzing data and using analytics tools to drive marketing decisions.
  • Advanced computer skills including Google Suite, Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively across clients, multiple partner relationships, and internal initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with external and internal teams.
  • Confidence speaking with and presenting to senior management, and senior client leadership, including C-Suite executives.

Requirements

  • The hiring salary range for this role is $130,000 - $145,000.
  • Incentive pay program (RevShare) comprising a monthly variable revenue payment opportunity and a discretionary annual performance bonus.
  • Hiring salaries are determined through interviews and a review of education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant, parity with other team members, and alignment with market data.
