Role Description
INFICON is looking for someone to lead its global industrial engineering focused Semi Smart Manufacturing Marketing efforts. This individual will play a crucial role in supporting and accelerating INFICON's growth in this market. This role will require a strong existing reputation and the ability to represent INFICON's vision to the industry at various industry functions/events as well as the specific requirements listed below.

Product Management:
- Define product strategy, roadmap, and feature prioritization in alignment with customer needs and company objectives.
- Collaborate with R&D, engineering, and design teams to ensure product specifications align with market requirements.
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and customer feedback sessions to inform roadmap and product development.
- Manage product lifecycle from concept to launch and beyond, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Lead the development and refinement of product messaging and positioning based on in-depth knowledge of smart manufacturing methodologies, semiconductor processes, competitive landscape, and customer requirements.

Technical Marketing:
- Develop and communicate compelling product value propositions and technical differentiators.
- Create technical content, including white papers, case studies, presentations, and webinars, to support sales and marketing efforts.
- Partner with the sales team to deliver training and support that empowers them to effectively sell the product.
- Provide pre-sales technical support, including the preparation and delivery of technical presentations and product demonstrations that address customer needs and showcase our solutions.
- Lead the development of product demos and technical materials for tradeshows, conferences, and customer engagements.

Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Serve as the voice of the customer across teams, ensuring their needs are represented in product development and marketing strategies.
- Collaborate with corporate marketing to execute campaigns that position INFICON products effectively in the marketplace.
- Work with support teams to address customer inquiries and integrate feedback into product roadmap.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
- 10+ years of experience in technical marketing or related field, with a proven track record in leading marketing teams
- Deep understanding of technology trends and market dynamics in the B2B tech industry
- Advanced technical knowledge in Semi Industrial Engineering and Smart Manufacturing
- Exceptional strategic thinking and ability to develop comprehensive marketing plans
- Strong skills in product positioning, messaging, and digital marketing strategies
- Proficiency in data analysis, market research, and deriving actionable insights
- Excellent project management abilities with a track record of delivering results
- Outstanding communication and public presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
- Demonstrated leadership experience in managing and mentoring high-performing teams
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to rapidly changing market conditions
Requirements
- For New York, the expected salary range for this position is between $150k and $200k.
- In addition, INFICON employees are eligible for a profit sharing bonus with a target of 10%.
- The actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law.
