[Hiring] Director of AEO & SEO @Omniscient

Role Description

We're hiring a Director of AEO & SEO to own how Omniscient delivers on AI search. You'll make Omniscient the AEO agency of choice, inside our delivery and out in the market.

• Lead and grow the team.
• Own the department’s business and goals.
• Meet with clients proactively and regularly.
• Bring in business.
• Set the direction for our methodology.
• Lead AI integration across the department.
• Define, enforce, and exemplify what excellence looks like.
• Own client health across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in SEO and organic growth, including meaningful hands-on AEO work in the last 18-24 months.
• Ability to articulate how AI models build answers and what improves visibility.
• Experience leading multi-level teams, including managers or team leads.
• Commercially-minded with the ability to tie organic work to pipeline and revenue.
• Established network and presence in the industry.
• Player-coach mentality, able to simplify complex ideas for various audiences.
• AI-native with experience in driving AI adoption.
• Attention to detail in memos, presentations, and data.
• Background includes agency and/or in-house B2B experience.
• Friendly and collaborative attitude.

Requirements

• Strong opinions about where search is going.
• Ability to manage a P&L and develop annual budgets.
• Experience presenting to CMOs, CEOs, and VPs.
• Comfortable respectfully disagreeing with senior leadership.
