Role Description

The Analyst, Title Svc II – Servicing Operations Support is responsible for filing loan policy insurance claims against title issues as recommended by legal counsel or as determined upon examination of title reports. The role includes:

• Evaluating and examining property reports and title policies to determine problems or restrictions with lien position and conveyances.
• Facilitating communication with attorneys and underwriters to determine the best course of title resolution based on state laws and investor guidelines and requirements.
• Disputing counsel recommendations for resolution when deemed necessary.
• Assisting management with documentation of department processes and procedures.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication, both written and verbal.
• Meticulous organizational and follow-up skills.
• Extensive knowledge of legal terminology as it relates to title insurance and property law.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret legal documents, policies, regulations, and guidelines.
• Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
• Research, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Self-manage time and task prioritization.

Requirements

• High School Diploma required.
• Bachelor’s Degree, some post-secondary courses or certificate preferred.
• Two (2) to four (4) years of related experience.
