Role Description
This is a full-time career opportunity that can be remote. The primary responsibility of this position is to prepare, compile, and organize legal documents for the settlement phase of residential mortgages for various loan types and products. Incumbents in the senior position will execute assignments of a higher degree of scope and complexity relative to the core position, complete special projects as assigned, and mentor junior staff.

Prepare, review, and organize legal documents for residential mortgage loan and product settlements.

Ensure conditions, including but not limited to title binder, fees, closing service letter, wire instructions, and hazard and flood insurance policies are satisfactory for loan closure and are within investor guidelines.

Establish and maintain high-quality working relationships with all customers, attorneys, and title companies.

Guide internal customers in the collection of appropriate documentation to secure second mortgages and/or other products.

Maintain in-depth knowledge of and ensure adherence to all conventional and government mortgage closing procedures, guidelines, regulations, and processes.

Ensure compliance with requirements under TRID.

Lead, train, and mentor junior staff.

Resolve escalated issues and assist in the development and implementation of process improvements.

Complete special projects.
Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent. (Required)

3 or more years Residential Mortgage banking and closing. (Required)
