Role Description

The Senior Investigative Counsel is responsible for conducting and reporting on compliance investigations in the North America region. The position requires the safeguarding of company interests and mitigating risk through impartial and efficient investigation into allegations of wrongdoing while upholding principles of integrity and due process. Investigations will generally be complex and sensitive, with possible serious consequences both internally and externally. This role will work within the Siemens Healthineers compliance community and work closely with senior management, other internal investigation departments, and, when necessary, law enforcement agencies.

The role also assists in advising the North American business on compliance topics such as:

• The U.S. Anti-Kickback Statute
• The False Claims Act
• Stark Law
• Other relevant statutes and laws

The role will also assist in monitoring enforcement actions and updates to relevant statutes, laws, and other government communications and communicating such updates to the Head of Compliance—North America and other leadership.

Reporting functionally to the Head of Compliance Governance and in-country to the Head of Compliance – North America, the incumbent will advise on related regulatory and risk management matters in North America, with a predominant focus in the United States and Canada. The incumbent will serve as a member of Siemens Healthineers' Global Investigations Team.

Qualifications

• Experience in compliance investigations
• Knowledge of U.S. Anti-Kickback Statute, False Claims Act, Stark Law
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
