Role Description

This is a rare opportunity for a Senior Employment Solicitor to join a fast-growing law firm as part of a senior, supportive employment team.

You'll advise SMEs and larger businesses on the full range of employment issues, including:

• Day-to-day support
• Restructures
• TUPE transfers
• Senior exits
• Complex tribunal work

The team is made up mainly of senior lawyers who support one another, ensuring collaborative problem-solving.

The firm has been remote from day one and describes itself as relaxed and informal but well organised. It's a tech-driven, agile business that provides its lawyers with the tools to work efficiently and maintain a real work-life balance. The firm is growing at over 30% a year and expects to double its turnover over the next two years, allowing you to play a role in shaping that growth.

Qualifications

• England and Wales-qualified employment lawyer
• Ideally 10+ years' experience
• Commercial mindset with strong relationship-building skills
• Practical approach to advice
• Tech-savvy and self-starting attitude
• Interest in using AI tools
• Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and ability to navigate SharePoint
• Close attention to detail in drafting

Requirements

• Provide day-to-day employment law support to SMEs and larger companies
• Advise on business restructures and redundancies, including collective redundancies
• Oversee discrimination and whistleblowing cases
• Advise on TUPE transfers, including corporate support
• Draft and advise on director service agreements, employment contracts, and consultancy agreements
• Manage disciplinary and grievance processes and handle senior executive severances
• Handle complex tribunal work

Benefits

• Salary of £68,000 up to £90,000, depending on PQE
