Ankuraβs Data Privacy Practice offers a full-service suite of data privacy solutions for clients, regardless of industry or size. Our experts assess data privacy risk and readiness relative to existing and emerging privacy regulations and help organizations build and mature their privacy programs.
Our Privacy practice is a rapidly growing part of the Digital segment of our business. The Director will help our clients address their data privacy challenges, including:

Assisting organizations through privacy-related regulatory investigations

Conducting privacy risk assessments

Creating policies and procedures
-
Building data inventories
-
Reviewing and interpreting regulatory changes

Developing consumer response processes

Implementing technology
We are seeking a skilled systems architect to design and implement robust automation and integrations solutions to join the Data Privacy team. This role will conduct in-depth analyses of network traffic and employ advanced network scanning tools. Responsibilities include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments of clients' current ad tech practices and identifying compliance gaps related to privacy regulations

Implementing changes in various Ad Tech technologies to operationalize compliance strategy

Developing and deploying methodologies on integrating data protection by design principles to the SDLC
-
Advising clients on applying consent models to cookies, pixels, beacons, and other tracking technologies
-
Developing and deploying website scanning strategies and technologies
-
Supporting delivery of engagements related to Privacy Technology implementations and training
-
Designing and developing robust API/system integrations
-
Monitoring and troubleshooting integration issues
-
Creating documentation identifying data flows between various systems and technologies
-
Creating project status summaries, reports, metrics, and other presentations of work performed
-
Creating and updating policies and procedures to support compliance with various regulations
-
Actively participating in and leading internal and external team meetings
-
Managing time and tasks to meet internal and external deadlines
-
Staying informed on industry trends and best practices in system architecture, automation, and integration
This role is remote based in the United States.
Qualifications

Bachelorβs Degree with a solid academic performance
-
3+ years of relevant experience in a consulting or industry-specific experience
-
Knowledge and experience developing and managing key privacy deliverables
-
Experience working with tag management systems and other marketing tools
-
Knowledge of various internet protocol layers
-
Deep knowledge of privacy regulations and frameworks (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA)
-
Proven track record of successfully leading and managing a team of privacy consultants or professionals
-
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
-
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
-
Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) and/or OneTrust certifications (preferred)
-
Willingness and flexibility to travel as required
-
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future
Requirements

A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range is between $90,000 to $120,000
