Role Description

Residential Conveyancing Lawyer – Home Based - £35,000 to £60,000

• Join a team with shared caseload, working alongside 2 other lawyers and 2-3 non-qualified colleagues.
• This is a hands-on role, with a mixture of detailed casework, coaching other team members, and working with in-house software developers to improve the tools used.
• Handle a mixed and varied caseload of Residential Conveyancing files.
• Provide an excellent level of service to clients throughout the transaction.
• Work with your team to deliver top class conveyancing to clients, including freehold and leasehold sale, purchase, and remortgage transactions.
• Solve complex legal problems.
• Help designers and software developers to improve the tools used daily.
• Find proactive, risk-based solutions to speed up transactions.

Qualifications

• Ideally a Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, or CILEx Fellow, but not essential.
• 5 years’ experience minimum in Residential Conveyancing if not qualified.
• Ability to title check freehold, leasehold, shared ownership, and new build matters.
• Comfortable communicating in a clear and simple way that makes sense to clients and avoids legal jargon.
