Role Description

Insurance Claim HQ is seeking a Missouri-licensed attorney to join our growing Plaintiff Property Litigation practice. This role is ideal for a motivated litigator who wants hands-on responsibility and meaningful client interaction.

Our practice represents insureds in disputes involving:

• Storm damage
• Fire losses
• Water losses
• Other significant property insurance claims

We are looking for an attorney who is passionate about advocating for clients and achieving exceptional results.

Qualifications

• Active Missouri law license in good standing
• Licensed in Kansas is a huge plus, but not required
• At least one year of civil litigation experience
• Experience with discovery, motion practice, and depositions
• Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and client-service abilities
• Self-motivated attorney who thrives in a fast-paced plaintiff litigation environment
• Experience in property insurance litigation is preferred

Requirements

• Manage a caseload of plaintiff-side property insurance litigation matters from inception through resolution
• Communicate directly with clients regarding strategy, case developments, and settlement opportunities
• Draft complaints, motions, discovery requests and responses, and legal briefs
• Take and defend depositions
• Attend hearings, mediations, and settlement conferences
• Work closely with experienced attorneys while maintaining ownership of your cases
• Litigate matters in Illinois state and federal courts
