Role Description

Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani, a national law firm with offices in all 50 states, has openings for Medical Malpractice Attorneys in its Chicago office. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience. We offer flexible options for successful candidates, including remote and hybrid opportunities.

Candidates must be licensed to practice in Illinois.

• Drafting correspondence, pleadings, opinion letters, and other documents.
• Reviewing and analyzing documents for relevance and privilege.
• Preparing for, attending, and summarizing depositions.
• Coordinating with witnesses.
• Communicating with clients, courts, and other counsel.
• Maintaining current knowledge of Local Rules, Rules of Civil Procedure, FRCP, and other applicable codes and regulations.
• Coordinating and communicating with parties outside the Firm including clients, courts, opposing and co-counsel, vendors, attorneys, secretaries, paralegals, case assistants, managers, and other staff.

Qualifications

• Solid written and verbal communication skills and command of the English language.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience.
• Licensed to practice in Illinois.

• Associates (approximately 1-6+ years): $100,000–$165,000.
• Senior Counsel/Of Counsel (approximately 5 years or more): $140,000–$215,000.
• Partners (approximately 7 years or more): $190,000–$275,000+.

Actual compensation is tailored to each individual and may vary based on factors such as experience, skills, practice area, business generation, work arrangement, and geographic market. We are committed to offering compensation that is both competitive and aligned with the value each professional brings to the firm.
