Role Description

Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani, a national law firm with offices in all 50 states, has an immediate opening for a National - Legal Secretary. The ideal candidate must have 3+ years of experience working as a litigation-focused legal secretary. This is a fully remote position; however, candidates must have prior California litigation experience with significant primary experience in personal injury and construction/construction defect litigation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a litigation-focused legal secretary
• Prior California litigation experience
• Significant experience in personal injury and construction/construction defect litigation

Requirements

• Familiar with the State and Federal Rules and Administrative Procedures
• Experience filing and serving in California and out-of-state courts, including e-filing in state and federal courts
• Familiarity with Court of Appeals procedures is preferred but not required
• Provides administrative support to attorneys
• Works independently on pleadings, discovery, motion preparation, and e-discovery
• Knowledge of case management, docketing, e-discovery, document review, and exhibit preparation
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products
• Experience using Milana calendaring program is beneficial
• Excellent analytical and written communication skills
• Highly organized, independent self-starters who can thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-intensive environment

Pay Range

USD $48,000.00 - USD $100,000.00 /Yr.
