Role Description

Volga Partners is seeking experienced Legal & Regulatory Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to support a specialized AI content evaluation pilot focused on the legal and regulatory environments of Mainland China and Spain.

• Leverage your expertise to review AI-generated legal and regulatory content.
• Assess legal reasoning and verify information against authoritative sources.
• Identify inaccuracies or unsupported conclusions.
• This is not a traditional legal advisory or representation position.
• No prior AI evaluation experience is required.

Qualifications

• Approximately 3–5 years of relevant professional experience in legal services, regulatory compliance, legal research, corporate law, or commercial law.
• Relevant academic qualifications in Law, Legal Studies, Business Law, Regulatory Affairs, Compliance, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated professional experience or relevant education involving Mainland China's or Spain's legal or regulatory environment.
• Strong understanding of applicable laws, regulatory frameworks, compliance requirements, or legal procedures within the relevant market.
• Strong written English communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to evaluate complex legal information objectively.
• Ability to work independently and consistently meet quality standards.

• Demonstrated ability to research and validate legal information using authoritative sources.
• Comfortable using digital documentation and web-based platforms.

• Assess legal conclusions and analytical explanations for alignment with applicable laws.
• Research and validate legal information using credible sources.

• Apply jurisdiction-specific knowledge to evaluate content.
• Provide structured feedback on findings and recommend corrections.
