[Hiring] Legal Program Manager @OrangePeople

Role Description

We are looking for a talented Project Manager to join our team. This role supports high-priority X-Legal programs and initiatives, including:

• Tracking and reporting on legal matter budgets
• Governing documentation and file structure
• Providing recurring status updates to Legal leadership

The successful contractor will partner with internal Legal teams, Outside Counsel (OC), and cross-functional stakeholders to:

• Maintain program continuity
• Manage and analyze data
• Keep documentation current
• Ensure deadlines and deliverables are met without disruption during the coverage period

Responsibilities include:

• Maintain and update program documentation, trackers, and workback plans
• Track actuals versus budget, collect bottom-up estimates, and support recurring budget and actuals reporting
• Prepare and distribute recurring status updates, meeting agendas, and action item tracking
• Coordinate with Outside Counsel and internal stakeholders to track and maintain financial data
• Partner with XFN stakeholders to keep workstream dependencies and deadlines visible

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of project or program management experience, with at least 2 years supporting a legal function (in-house legal department or law firm)
• Demonstrated ownership of budget tracking and reporting, actuals versus budget, bottom-up estimates, and variance reporting
• Experience building and maintaining program documentation, trackers, and workback plans for multiple concurrent workstreams, including direct stakeholder coordination

Requirements

• Familiarity with litigation and complex litigation structures
• Experience coordinating with Outside Counsel and familiarity with fee arrangements
• Comfort with AI-enabled productivity tooling and document/workflow automation

Additional Responsibilities

• Participate in OP monthly team meetings and participate in team-building efforts
• Contribute to OP technical discussions, peer reviews, etc.
• Contribute content and collaborate via the OP-Wiki/Knowledge Base
• Provide status reports to OP Account Management as requested
