Role Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Intake Specialist to join our dynamic team. The Intake Specialist will be responsible for managing the initial contact with clients, gathering essential information, and ensuring a smooth onboarding process. This role is crucial in providing exceptional service and support to clients while maintaining the integrity of our legal processes.

• Conduct initial client interviews to gather pertinent information and assess their needs.
• Transcribe client conversations accurately for record-keeping and case management.
• Manage project timelines and ensure all intake processes are completed efficiently.
• Collaborate with legal teams on various areas of law including personal injury, environmental, securities, and patent law.
• Utilize Lexis Nexis for legal research and case preparation as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in handling sensitive information.
• Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette while interacting with clients and stakeholders.
• Assist in the preparation of contracts and other legal documents as required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a legal administrative role is preferred, with knowledge of employment/labor law.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Proficient in transcribing information accurately and efficiently.
• Familiarity with legal intake is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on phone etiquette.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• Detail-oriented mindset with strong organizational skills to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
• Must speak: English and Spanish.
