Role Description

Micro1 is seeking experienced in-house counsel for part-time work training and evaluating AI for real-world legal contract review, with a focus on technology agreements and contract risk.

• The work involves simulated contract negotiations and redlining exercises.
• Reviewing AI responses to contract scenarios.
• Creating evaluation frameworks and grading criteria.
• Working with product and research teams to improve contract review data, guidance, and model performance.

Qualifications

• At least three years of in-house experience in technology transactions.
• Experience negotiating MSAs, NDAs, ISDAs, and derivatives.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Close attention to detail.
• Experience working across disciplines.
• AI or legal-technology experience is a plus.

Requirements

• Engagement as an independent contractor, remote and part-time.
• Compensation is task-based: payment is for completed tasks that meet project specifications.
• Micro1 advertises US$90–$130/hour.
• Average handling time of approximately 3.5 hours per task.
• The effective hourly rate depends on completed tasks being signed off; the advertised hourly range is not a guaranteed hourly wage.
