Role Description

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Employment Law Attorney looking for work or better pay. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive legal counsel on employment-related matters, representing clients in employment disputes, drafting policies, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws. This role offers an opportunity to work on a diverse range of employment issues, including:

• Workplace discrimination
• Wrongful termination
• Wage and hour claims
• Employee rights

The ideal candidate will possess strong litigation skills, a thorough understanding of employment statutes, and excellent client communication abilities.

Qualifications

• 2-10+ years of employment law firm experience
• Extensive knowledge of employment law case experience and statutory legal research methods
• Proficiency in legal research tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw
• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to advocate effectively in court proceedings
• Excellent legal writing skills for drafting motions, pleadings, contracts, and client communications
• Strong interpersonal skills to communicate clearly with clients and colleagues
• Prior experience working in a law office environment is preferred

Requirements

• Advise clients on employment law compliance, including federal, state, and local regulations
• Represent clients in employment litigation cases such as discrimination, harassment, and wrongful termination
• Draft and review employment policies, contracts, severance agreements, and settlement documents
• Conduct legal research on statutes, regulations, and case law relevant to employment issues
• Prepare for and participate in court depositions, hearings, and trials
• Negotiate settlements and facilitate dispute resolution between employers and employees
• Manage legal case files efficiently using case management software
• Provide training sessions to clients on workplace rights and legal obligations
• Stay current with developments in employment law through continuous research and professional development

Benefits

• Pay is: $100k-$250k + Benefits
• Pay is negotiable depending on experience
