[Hiring] Disputes Counsel @Revolut Ltd

Role Description

The Legal team turns complexity into clarity by partnering with teams across Revolut to provide sharp, practical advice that helps the business move fast while staying protected. From structuring credit programmes to navigating new markets, the Legal team ensures growth is secure, compliant and built for the long term.

We are looking for a Junior Disputes Legal Counsel to support our ongoing expansion and operations. You'll handle out-of-court disputes, coordinate with external counsel on litigation, and advise on dispute-related matters.

What you'll be doing:

• Managing end-to-end the resolution of out-of-court disputes and consumer protection complaints with competent Greek authorities
• Handling dispute-related matters, including reviewing and preparing formal responses to claims
• Coordinating and liaising with external law firms in Greece to manage active litigation cases
• Providing legal advice and resolving escalated dispute tickets related to branch activities
• Assisting with the preparation of legal documentation and refinement of internal workflows to ensure efficient dispute handling

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in law
• A current membership with one of the Greek bar associations
• Experience in a law firm or as an in-house legal counsel, ideally within a bank or other financial institution
• Exposure to dispute resolution, litigation, or financial regulatory law
• The ability to brief and liaise with external law firms
• Fluency in English and Greek
• The ability to draft formal legal responses and discuss complex matters clearly in both languages
• A proactive mindset with the ability to coordinate with external law firms and internal stakeholders

Requirements

• Experience with alternative dispute resolution (ADR), ideally within financial services (e.g., through the Hellenic Consumers' Ombudsman and the Hellenic Financial Ombudsman)
• Familiarity with Greek Consumer Protection Law, Greek transposition of the PSD2, and Bank of Greece regulations
• An interest in fintech
