Role Description

CYNWAVE Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented Contract Specialist to support federal contract administration and business development. The specialist will help the company review opportunities, prepare compliant proposal materials, track contract requirements, and maintain accurate records. This position works with leadership, project managers, finance staff, and subcontractors to support timely and compliant contract performance.

• Assist with proposal preparation, including compliance matrices, forms, past performance materials, and coordination of technical, staffing, and pricing inputs.
• Track deliverables, option periods, reporting obligations, modifications, and other contract milestones; notify the appropriate team members of upcoming actions.
• Maintain complete, organized contract files and supporting documentation.
• Coordinate with project managers and internal teams to collect information, resolve documentation gaps, and support contract performance reporting.
• Support subcontract administration by coordinating required documents and tracking applicable subcontract requirements.
• Help review contract terms and flag potential compliance, schedule, or performance concerns for management review.
• Research federal contracting requirements and prepare status reports and contract-related correspondence as assigned.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience.
• US Citizen.
• Experience supporting federal government contracts, proposal development, or subcontract administration preferred.
• Strong writing, organization, communication, and research skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, protect sensitive business information, and meet deadlines.
• Must have strong interpersonal skills, work independently and in a team.
