Role Description

We are seeking an associate attorney for our growing insurance defense/personal injury firm located on the North Shore of Long Island (Glen Head). The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of relevant experience handling cases involving:

• Premises liability
• Labor Law claims
• Automobile liability
• Dog bite litigation

Responsibilities include:

• Significant client contact from beginning to end
• Frequent and timely reporting to clients and insurance carriers
• Drafting pleadings, responding to discovery demands, review and analysis of medical records
• Conducting and representing clients at depositions
• Court appearances in Nassau, Suffolk, Westchester and all NYC courts
• Preparing and responding to relevant motions

Please note that for the right candidate, there is the ability to work remotely from home on an as needed basis. This position is a great opportunity, particularly for a candidate who resides on Long Island. We have been in business for over 20 years.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant experience
• Experience in handling cases involving premises liability, Labor Law claims, automobile liability, and dog bite litigation
