[Hiring] Windows Technical Support Engineer @DXC Technology

Role Description

We are looking for 24/7 Windows Technical Support Engineers. As a Windows Technical Support Engineer, you will be using your expertise to achieve high-level customer satisfaction by supporting state-of-the-art solutions and minimizing the amount of unplanned downtime in the customer's production environment providing support 24/7. Your daily challenge will include:

• Identifying and solving problems
• Working on complex incidents affecting thousands of users
• Defining, executing, and implementing standardized changes

You will be working in an environment where fast, educated decisions may save the day; however, quality and perfection are our major objectives. Working remotely from Bulgaria, you will be reaching customers from pole to pole.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of practical experience in Microsoft Windows Server technologies (installation, configuration, patching, and troubleshooting)
• Experience in administrating Windows-based File & Print solutions
• Basic experience troubleshooting Active Directory
• Experience in server virtualization technologies: Microsoft Hyper-V, VMware vSphere
• Basic Networking knowledge (Network shares, DMZ, Load balancers, NAT, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, etc.)
• Ability to make hardware and software recommendations for particular cases during the troubleshooting process

Requirements

• Experience in public/private cloud technologies (e.g. Azure, AWS, Google, etc.)
• Experience troubleshooting Microsoft Clustering and Load Balancing
• Certifications in Microsoft Server or VMware
• Knowledge of Backup and Restore tools for MS platform operating systems
• Basic SAN knowledge
• Experience with a ticketing system
