[Hiring] Senior Messaging Specialist @Danaher Corporation

Role Description

As a Senior Messaging Specialist in the Danaher Collaboration team, you’re at the core of one of the largest services in our global organization. As part of a small group of technology experts, you will:

• Identify, recommend, and implement innovative solutions and best practices to continuously improve, expand, and protect our Messaging Service supporting more than 100,000 mailboxes worldwide.
• Lead the architecture, deployment, and maintenance of Microsoft Exchange Online and hybrid Exchange environments.
• Manage, configure, and optimize Proofpoint solutions including Email Protection, Threat Response, TAP, and DLP policies.
• Administer other messaging-related technologies such as Microsoft Defender for Office 365, SPF/DKIM/DMARC policies, and TLS configurations.
• Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) in email routing, delivery troubleshooting, mail flow policies, and message trace analysis.
• Drive and implement best practices for email retention, legal hold, eDiscovery, and compliance.
• Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation, reporting, and system administration.
• Provide Tier 3 support and guidance to junior engineers and IT support teams.

Qualifications

• Long-standing experience in architecting and maintaining Microsoft messaging and collaboration solutions.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, and a minimum of 5 years of work experience.
• In-depth knowledge of email authentication protocols (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) and secure mail gateway configurations.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 Compliance Center, Proofpoint, email encryption solutions.
• Strong expertise in PowerShell scripting for Exchange and Microsoft 365 administration.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.

Requirements

• Ability to travel – up to 10%.
