[Hiring] IT Support Technician II @CNC SOFTWARE LLC

Role Description

The IT Support Technician is responsible for providing Tier 1 support for technical inquiries received via Mastercam phone, email, ticketing, and messaging applications. In this role, you will:

• Assess the nature of problems and resolve first-level support issues by troubleshooting software and hardware issues on laptops, desktops, tablets, and/or smartphones.
• Log or record support tickets and/or cases.
• Work in a support capacity to resolve issues or escalate them as needed within the IT team.
• Make independent decisions and manage time proactively with little oversight or supervision.

Must be located in the Pacific Time Zone.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma Required; Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or equivalent preferred.
• 4-5 years of relevant work experience in a technology support capacity.
• Knowledge of information technology engineering methods and technologies for IT infrastructure, web, mobility, and WAN and LAN networking.
• Experience with Microsoft technology stack including Microsoft 365, Office, Windows, Teams, Active Directory, Intune, Entra ID, and Azure.
• Analytical reasoning and ability to apply research methodologies and statistical analysis to solve problems.
• Data collection and reporting experience.

• Proven time management skills and a track record of working in a team environment.
• Well-organized, attention to detail, and able to multi-task.
• Conflict resolution and active listening skills.
