Role Description

Seeking an Information Systems Architect (Advanced) to support Health-IT initiatives. This role requires deep expertise in Electronic Health Records (EHR), healthcare data standards, enterprise applications, and multi-tiered system architectures. The architect will provide technical leadership, guide emerging technology adoption, and collaborate with technical teams, management, vendors, and clients to deliver scalable and secure healthcare IT solutions.

• Design, plan, and oversee Health-IT system architecture, including EHR, HIE, and EMAR platforms.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption strategies.
• Direct and review the work of technical staff; ensure alignment with organizational goals.
• Manage relationships with clients, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
• Apply knowledge of enterprise applications, data management, networks, security, and hardware in healthcare settings.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR).
• 5+ years working with Nextgen EHR, PM, and EDR.
• Nextgen Certification required.
• Strong knowledge of ICD-9/ICD-10.
• 5+ years of experience with healthcare-specific data interface standards and health information exchange (HIE) technologies.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

Requirements

• Experience with SQL.
• Experience with Crystal Reports, eMAR, Mirth, PACs, CIPS/Fusion, or Merge.
• Familiarity with HL7 standards.
