Role Description

NOPSEMA currently has a vacancy for an experienced ICT Technical Lead in its Perth office.

Technology is central to how NOPSEMA delivers its regulatory functions. As an ICT Technical Lead, you will:

• Plan, design, implement and support secure enterprise ICT and cloud solutions that meet the agency's needs and objectives.
• Be the technical expert across business systems, ICT infrastructure, cloud platforms, identity services and cyber security.
• Help deliver, run and improve the technology services that NOPSEMA relies on.
• Enjoy solving complex problems, building modern and resilient environments, and growing the capability of the people around you.

Qualifications

• Proven hands-on technical leadership skills in hybrid enterprise ICT environments, delivering secure, reliable and fit-for-purpose solutions.
• Strong technical skills across Azure, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Exchange, SharePoint, and Microsoft modern workplace and endpoint management technologies.
• Experience implementing and maintaining cyber security, risk and compliance controls across cloud, SaaS, on-premises and end-user computing environments.
• Experience supporting enterprise applications and ICT services, and working effectively with managed service providers, vendors and business stakeholders.
• The ability to lead and coordinate ICT projects and technology initiatives through to successful delivery and operational support.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, including giving clear technical advice, influencing outcomes and working well in a multidisciplinary team.
• Desirably, knowledge of Australian Government security requirements (PSPF and ISM).

Requirements

• You will be required to pass a pre-employment medical and maintain medical fitness.
• You must pass and maintain a security clearance to the level ‘Baseline’.
• Prior to any offer of employment, the recommended applicant will be required to undertake pre-employment checks, including national police clearance and declaration of conflict of interest.
• NOPSEMA staff are prohibited from trading in oil and gas resources and/or offshore renewable electricity sector shares.
• This position is open to Australian citizens only.
