Role Description

Cisco Meraki Support Engineer

Remote - UK Client

• Own 2nd and 3rd line incidents and service requests.
• Troubleshooting switching, routing, wireless and security issues to root cause.
• Take escalations from 1st line and guide through fixes.
• Handle Priority 1 incidents within SLA, including weekends.
• Make configuration changes in line with change control.
• Keep ticket notes clear and accurate.

Qualifications

• CCNA
• Previous Cisco Meraki experience
• Support desk experience

Requirements

• Troubleshooting across LAN, WAN, Wireless and Meraki Dashboards
• Ability to work required 4-day work week / hours and be on standby from 8h00 - 20h00 both Saturday and Sunday
• Monday to Thursday: 8h00 to 16h30 UK time
• Friday: off
• Saturday and Sunday on-call (weekend calls are rare but individual must be reachable for the entire on-call window and have laptop readily available in order to respond within 30 minutes)

Benefits

• Salary Bracket: R20 000 to R30 000 per month CTC, depending on experience, qualification(s) and current / previous package
