[Hiring] Talent Sourcing Specialist @Marriott

Role Description

We’re looking for a Talent Sourcing Specialist to join our team and support our Talent Acquisition function. The Talent Sourcing Specialist will be responsible for:

• Understanding the ongoing hiring needs of the business.
• Conducting proactive candidate searches and talent pipelining.
• Supporting administrative tasks related to recruiting.
• Partnering closely with Recruiters to ensure best-in-class candidate and hiring manager experiences.

This is a remote position, and we’re open to any location and time zone in the CALA.

Qualifications

• Required:
• Bachelor's degree, or related degree necessary.
• A minimum of 3 years of HR experience, with at least 2 years of direct sourcing experience.
• Prior sourcing and recruiting experience, either in a search firm or an in-house talent acquisition team.
• A proven track record of successfully building talent pipelines.
• Preferred:
• Working understanding of talent acquisition/human resource principles, practices, and procedures.
• Proficiency in utilizing various sourcing channels, tools, and platforms to identify and engage potential candidates.

Requirements

• Review applications, conduct candidate screens, assess qualifications, and present qualified candidates for Hiring Manager consideration.
• Work closely with Recruiters to gain a deep understanding of our brands and disciplines.
• Develop and implement talent sourcing strategies, including social media campaigns.
• Launch and manage diverse sourcing strategies to actively seek out and attract candidates.
• Proactively build talent pipelines by generating referrals and conducting online sourcing.
• Identify talent pools and online talent communities, fostering relationships on behalf of Marriott.
• Conduct talent mapping within target companies and industries.
• Organize and maintain talent pipeline data by discipline or functional area.
• Proactively initiate communication with prospective candidates and conduct preliminary phone screens.
• Administer Paradox-related activities, automated communications, and scheduling workflows.
• Maintain recruiting documentation, collaboration notes, interview records, and required approvals.
• Engage in continuous communication with past applicants and candidates.
• Support recruitment events and initiatives.
• Support Employer Branding, Young Talent, and Voyage through talent research and pipeline development.
• Overview selected requisitions as needed.
