[Hiring] Talent Acquisition Specialist @Sentara Health

Role Description

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will partner with hiring managers and HR business partners to understand and anticipate hiring needs and proactively identify strategic recruiting solutions to meet those needs.

• Manage the recruitment process for all open positions in assigned business units.
• Focus on identifying and tapping into new sourcing resources.
• Utilize proactive techniques to recruit diverse, high-value candidates.
• Engage in tactical and strategic sourcing to help business units proactively source and place top talent.
• Execute and facilitate the overall recruitment strategy, including screening, interviewing, and testing.
• Serve as a strategic partner to hiring managers.
• Participate in projecting future employment needs and creating recruitment plans.
• Improve the employment process.
• Lead projects and maintain a high load of positions, including hard-to-fill positions.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma/GED required.
• Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred.
• Two years of Human Resources experience with a Bachelor’s Degree, or four years of equivalent experience with a High School Diploma or GED are required.
• 3-5 years recruitment experience is strongly preferred.
• Recruitment in a Healthcare environment strongly preferred.
• Experience with high volume recruitment and hard-to-fill positions.
• Sourcing experience required.
• Ability to attend recruitment events and participate in TA events strongly preferred (Virginia/North Carolina).

Requirements

• Market-competitive compensation packages, including base pay, incentives, and benefits.
• Base pay range for full-time employment is $68,598.40 - $103,396.80 annually.
• Additional compensation may be available, such as shift differentials, on-call pay, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
• Compensation may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
• Note: If an annual salary is posted, it is based on a full-time colleague working 2,080 hours annually.
