Role Description

We are looking for a professional, organised, and people-focused Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our recruitment team. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Sourcing qualified candidates through job boards, recruitment platforms, social media, referrals, and other sourcing channels.
• Reviewing applications and CVs to identify candidates who meet the requirements of each vacancy.
• Conducting initial telephone and video screening interviews.
• Assessing candidates based on their experience, qualifications, communication skills, and overall suitability for the role.
• Maintaining an active candidate pipeline for current and future vacancies.
• Communicating with candidates throughout the recruitment process and providing timely updates.
• Following up with candidates to ensure they progress through each stage of the recruitment process.
• Maintaining accurate candidate records and recruitment information.
• Managing multiple candidates and vacancies simultaneously.
• Working closely with the wider recruitment team to understand hiring requirements and priorities.
• Ensuring candidates are appropriately screened and matched to suitable opportunities.
• Assisting with recruitment administration and other tasks as required.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years recruitment experience.
• Experience recruiting within healthcare, childcare, education, social care, or similar industries is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of professional communication and candidate screening.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Confident conducting telephone and video interviews.
• Strong organisational and administrative skills.
• Excellent follow-up and follow-through skills.
• Comfortable working with spreadsheets, ATS platforms, recruitment systems, and online sourcing tools.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple candidates and vacancies simultaneously.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Professional, friendly, and approachable personality.
